Tim is a multidisciplinary strategist, operator, and advisor with deep experience across energy, healthcare, infrastructure, fintech, and technology sectors.

 

As Principal of Arete Strategics, he partners with leadership teams to align strategy, operations, and culture — particularly during moments of growth, transformation, or complexity.

 

A seasoned entrepreneur, Tim founded and scaled EnerCon Energy Consulting into the largest privately held municipal natural gas supply and management firm in the United States with revenues in excess of $100 million.

 

Since exiting the company, he has served in interim and fractional C-suite roles across diverse industries, helping both mission-driven organizations and startups unlock growth, sharpen leadership, innovate and improve operational systems.

 

Tim has held leadership roles on a range of nonprofit and advisory boards and is especially drawn to initiatives that bridge innovation and impact.

Tim is married to Kara and has 4 wonderful children – Merrie Katherine, Jules, Lilah and Isaac.  Tim has been an instrument rated pilot for over 35 years and enjoys playing the guitar, skiing, diving and traveling with his family.
